Acid attack victim in Nepal: Muskan Khatun

 She is now more beautiful!

I tried to present story of Muskan Khatun with the information I have..

Early morning she was going for her class. She used to read in class nine. She was busy with her friends talking and walking. She heard a voice Muskan!. A boy was calling her.  She tunred back and saw two boys sitting in front of a shop. They were the boys who used to follow her saying they used to love her. She was beautiful, everyone used to like her. They had followed her before as well but when her dad scolded them not to follow her they were lost and stopped following. She was happy that she can go to school without worrying about others. She wanted to live like a free bird and she was almost getting that opportunity. But it is common that no one can see someone that happy. And they again appeared all of a sudden.

She turned back and asked why were they calling. They smiled with their selfish smile. They said come we want to talk but she totally ignored them saying she had no interest to talk to them. She headed towards her own destination. Thmother's said they were not going to tease her they only wanted to talk to her. So, she went towards them. They gave her a jug and said drink this water but she clearly declined and returned. While she was returning a boy threw the liquid from the jug.

Ouch! She screamed. Suddenly she started feeling her half side of face and neck burning. It was hurting more than burning by hot oil or jumping into the fire. Now her beautiful charming face turned worse for those boys but not for her and others with good heart. She couldn’t know what was going on. Before she could know anything she fainted. 

When her eyes were open she was laying on hospital bed. There was flow of tears from  her mothers eyes . She then looked at her father whose eyes were wet. She had never seen her dad crying but now she was seeing them wet. She slowly tried to open her mouth but she could not. The nurse sitting there signaled her not to speak . She listened people talking that she was attacked by acid. She wondered, “ how the boys who don’t even the name of any acid can buy acid in Nepal?” this is a big question mark which should be converted into full stop by government. She cried a lot not by seeing her but seeing her parents. She wasn’t given chance to see herself in  the mirror. 

 One day she secretly looked at mirror in bathroom in hospital. She saw her half face and neck was completely burn they were full of blisters and were dark. She cried remembering her old face. Although she was hurt from inside she couldn’t show it outside because she never wants to feel their parents bad. She tried to stay strong and hide tears. Although we try and mange to be strong for some days we can't hide our feelings forever. We are human with unique features of feeling. So she used to be broken sometimes. She used to cry alone. 

She was a good student and always dreamed about being a doctor and serve poor and needy. Because of that acid attack by some so called human she is in hospital since last six months. She worries more about her study then her face. This can prove how dedicated she is for study. Her last six months stay in hospital taught her a lot. Outer appearance is for those who live for others and inner beauty is for yourself and your loved once . Those boys found her face  beautiful felt jealous and threw acid but they didn’t know her inner heart is more beautiful than her face.  And guys note that   you can't destroy her inner beauty. Do u have any acids that can damage people's inner beauty? 

After her acid attack those two boys were arrested. She was wishing lifelong imprisonment for them. But again we can't get what we want theory got applied itself. Those boys were taken out of prison within six months. “ Is acid attack a case of pickpocketing?” again a question to government. If government thinks like that then let me clear in pickpocketing people only steal their money or something that is economically important but acid attack is the pick pocketing of a life, a dream, future of a person which is ultimately the future of a nation, self respect, confidence and the beautiful soul. She was trying to make herself strong. She was trying to get habituated with how she is now. She was trying to return back to  normal life.

 One of her friend called her and said those boys are now already out of prison. She is now so shocked she haven’t even imagined the rule of Nepal government is this weak. She cried thinking is borning in Nepal my fault for not getting justice or being a middle class girl from simple family. Her father called and asked police how they were out of prison but they tried to ignore saying they don’t know about that. When they invested and found the cause of their freedom from the jail.  Their parents made a duplicate birth certificate that says  they are eleven and twelve years old. According to them they are children and didn’t know that acid attack is wrong. The thing I am surprised is my eleven years old brother stay at home watching cartoon whole day but those boys like girls and follow them after they are  rejected they attack by acid. Actually what vitamins or elements make them know those things? If you know you can share that can be a great medical invention. My eleven year old brother doesn’t even know about acid but they attack someone with acid . I am now confused whether to salute them for being matured or feel bad about them? But truth can never be hidden because it is 21st century and science is able to make almost anything . So according to their medical report their biological age must be between 18-20 now whom should I blame for this their parents who make duplicate certificate or those people on the post of concerened authorities who verified their deuplicate certificate in the love of bribe or the  government ?? Again a big question mark to be answered.

I really respect her being so strong. She is motivation for each and every people. Such big accidents hadn’t brought any weakness on her. She is ready to fight. Her dream of being a doctor to help people can't be replaced by anything. She can't be stopped. I am feeling sad for those guys who attack her for making weak remember she is far more stronger than before now. And now she is more beautiful.

Please stop such inhumane work. We all are human with the best cranial capacity among all living living creatures in the world. So try to behave as human.
